First campuses go live this fall

Meet people on your campus you can actually trust.

Every profile is verified with a campus email before it goes anywhere. Sarx opens one campus at a time.

Opening first at Georgia Tech · Emory University · Georgia State University · Kennesaw State University · University of Georgia

The idea

You don't swipe. You go.

Every other app hands you a deck of strangers and an evening to sort through it. Sarx hands you one person, one place, and a time to be there.

  • There is no left and no right. Nothing to rank, nobody to judge by a photo, no deck to get to the bottom of. Sarx is not something you play at night.
  • Seconds, not hours. It knows which parts of campus you actually spend time in — never anything finer than that — and speaks up when someone who genuinely fits you is in one of them.
  • Then it gets out of the way. One person, one public place, one time, and dinner is on us. No planning. Just go.

A little less alone in the places you already are.

Place

Neither of you has to suggest anywhere.

Place is the part of Sarx that decides where a first date happens. You both get the same seven vetted spots and each pick one, separately — no thread about what you feel like, no waiting to see who suggests something first.

  • Somewhere we have already been. Every spot is a public place Sarx has visited and agreed terms with — a restaurant, a bar, a table someone is expecting you at. Never a house, never an address one of you had to hand over.
  • Between you, not near one of you. Sarx ranks places by whichever of you is further away, so the walk is fair instead of convenient for whoever asked. It only offers somewhere open at the hour you are going.
  • It never knew where you live. The choice is made from an area about a kilometre across, which is the only thing your profile stores. There is no precise location to leak, because the app never had one.

One place, one time, and dinner is on us.

Write to the founder.

There is no email address on this site, on purpose. This form is the way in, and what you write goes to the founder and nowhere else.
